All accomodation spots are private and booked just for you while you visiting there.

“One week paddling route on Lake Saimaa” On that route four first campsites are public (which means that free for you) and last three accmodation spots ( Vartiosaari, Ukonsaari and Heremit Island) are private and booked just for you.

 

Booking

Here is our Cancellation policy:
Cancellations are possible any time before the reserved date as follows: a) free cancellation made more than 30 days before the booked service; b) 50 % of the service price will be refunded for cancellations made from 29 to 3 days before the booked service; c) the full price will be retained for cancellations made later than 2 days before the booked service. We recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation charges and fees.

Traveling to Saimaa Canoeing

How people arrive to our spot from abroad:
Examples:
– Arrival by own car ( from example ferry from German or Stockholm or Tallinn ) to Helsinki and then driving to here (address Ylössaarentie 84, 52200 PUUMALA)
– Train to Stockholm – Ferry to Helsinki – train to Mikkeli – bus to Puumala ( Welcome to Puumala  we will pick you up – price 20€ one way/group )
– Flying to Helsinki  – rent a car and drive to us (address Ylössaarentie 84, 52200 PUUMALA)
– Flying to Helsinki – train to Mikkeli – bus to Puumala –  ( Welcome to Puumala  we will pick you up – price 20€ one way/group )
– Ryanair Flying connection from Milano to Lappeenranta ( airport about 1,5 hour driving from us) You can rent a car or order picking up from us ( 180€ one way/group)

– some scouts has even walked from Mikkeli to here ( 82 km :))
Note! From Puumala village you will find two grocery shops for making shoppings if needed  for your paddling tour.

Last part to our island you will have nice little ferry. So when you come to us by car on by bike you need to travel by ferry. The ferry is free and runs all year round and around the clock. It takes 5 to 10 minutes. More information: Hätinvirta FerryFERRY BREAKS:
